Study Nanomedicine in England

Graduate Student Scholarship Opportunity

The European Science Foundation will host a one-week summer session that will provide state of the art training across the sub-disciplines of Nanomedicine. Leading European experts will speak on:

  • The current status of Nanomedicine
  • Specific clinical applications
  • Synthesis, fabrication and characterization of nanomaterials and devices
  • Theory, Modeling and Informatics
  • Diagnostics, Biosensors & Surgical Tools
  • Molecular & Patient Imaging
  • Nanopharmaceuticals
  • Tissue engineering & Regeneration
  • Nanotoxicology & Cellular Fate
  • Regulation of Nanomedicines, Diagnostics & Devices
  • Ethical Issues and Societal Issues

Scholarship Includes

Event registration; hotel accommodation at the Vale Hotel Resort from Sunday, June 10 to Friday, June 15, 2007; all meals; and access to the Health Club facilities. DOES NOT INCLUDE TRAVEL EXPENSES.

All graduate students currently enrolled at an Alliance for NanoHealth Institution: The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston; The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center; The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston; Rice University; University of Houston; Texas A&M Health Science Center; Baylor College of Medicine
